XPOL-1-5G Antenna (XPOL1-5G-4X4)
This antenna is an outdoor, 4×4 MiMO 5G Antenna with 4 x antenna cables with SMA Male connectors that will connect to the 4 x antenna ports of your 4×4 MiMo 5G Router.
The Poynting XPOL-1-5G V2 Omni 4×4 MIMO 4G and 5G Outdoor Antenna is Poynting’s second-generation of the very popular Cross Polarised (XPOL) 4×4 MIMO antenna with peak 3dBi gain.
This antenna covers all UK 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G frequencies and performs exceptionally well in the following frequency bands: 698 – 960 MHz, 1700 –2700 MHz & 3400 – 3800 MHz, with a peak gain of 3dBi across the frequency bands of operation.
Please note the XPOL-1-5G antenna has 4 x 5 meter cables and so is not suitable to be used with most 4G LTE Routers as they only have 2 antenna connectors. This antenna is designed to be used with routers that have 4 x antenna connectors such as the Proroute H685 5G router and Mikrotik 5G Router
We recommend using this antenna for connection to your 4×4 MiMo 5G router where the router is installed in a location with a poor 5G network signal, but there is a better 5G mobile network signal in the intended location for the 5G antenna. This antenna has a peak gain of 3dBi and your router will probably be supplied with antennas that may be 3dBi to 5dBI peak gain so just installing this router in the same location as the router will not improve your 5G signal. The reason for having an external 5G antenna is that it can be located in a position with a better 5G signal strength.

The XPOL-1-5G Antenna is supplied pre-terminated with 4 x cables each with an SMA Male connector and these are designed to connect to the 4 antenna ports of your 4×4 MIMO 5G router.
Connect Cell 1(Main) cable to the respective Cell 1(Main) connector of the router. Similarly, connect Cell 2(Main) cable to the respective Cell 2 (Main) connector of the router.
Connect Cell 1 (Aux/Div) cable to the respective Cell 1 (Aux/Div) connector of the router. Similarly, Connect Cell 2(Aux/ Div) cable to the respective Cell2(Aux/Div) connector of the router.
In case of a 2-port LTE router, use one of the antenna diversity cable pairs. Use either Cell 1 (Main) & Cell 1 (Aux/Div) cables or Cell 2 (Main) & Cell 2 (Aux/Div) cables.
In case of two routers that have two LTE ports each, you can split the antenna diversity cable pairs such that one router is connected to Cell 1 (Main) & Cell 1 (Aux/Div) cables and the other router is connected to Cell 2 (Main) & Cell 2 (Aux/Div) cables.
-Cell 1 Main and Cell 2 Main cables are connected to the horizontal elements.
-Cell 1 Aux/Div and Cell 2 Aux/Div cables are connected to the vertical elements.
The XPOL-1-5G Antenna can be window mounted using the included rubber suckers or pole mounted using the included pole mount bracket.
