Teltonika RUT200 Compact 4G Router
£89.00
The Teltonika RUT200 is one of the best value, compact 4G routers available in the Teltonika Industrial LTE router range.
It provides a convenient way to use a SIM card to provide low cost, flexible and instant 4G Internet connectivity for your remote management and monitoring application.
The RUT200 has 2 x Ethernet ports, WiFi and a single SIM card slot.
Ideally used with an M-Connect Roaming Fixed IP SIM card which will provide connectivity on the four UK networks (O2, Vodafone, EE and 3 Mobile) with a public IP address which means you can directly connect to the router from the Internet and use the port forwarding features to connect to your devices on the LAN.

Description
Buying the Teltonika RUT200 compact 4G router is easy with the 5G Store. We keep them in stock and deliver to mainland UK the following working day. If you are using the RUT200 router for remote management and monitoring we can even supply a roaming fixed IP SIM card with a\ fixed, public IP address that works on all four UK mobile phone networks (O2, Vodafone, EE and 3 Mobile) a from just £11.00 per month (12 month contract via direct debit).
Once you have your Teltonika RUT200 4G router and Fixed IP SIM Card, insert the SIM into the single SIM slot, connect the 2 x supplied Cellular 4G antennas and the single WiFi antenna, connect the power and wait for a few minutes. Now you can connect your PC and connect to the router’s web interface and make a few configuration changes. After logging in (user name is admin and the default password is printed on the body of the router) you will first be asked to change your password for obvious security reasons. Make you this is a secure password and keep a record of it. If you can’t remember the password then you will have to factory reset the router and start your configuration again.
Once you are logged in, in the top right hand corner change user profile from BASIC to ADVANCED and then select NETWORK and INTERFACES and you will see several interface options. The bottom one, MOB1S1A1 is the one for the embedded 4G modem. Click the EDIT (pencil) and you can now configure your APN for the Fixed IP SIM Card. For 5G Store SIM cards with public IP the APN will be m2m. So just hit the toggle button from auto to manual APN and enter the APN and press save/apply and the router will connect to the best available network and your router will have a fixed, public IP address.
You can then configure remote access to the router web interface and port forwarding so that you can remotely connect to your devices on the LAN and we recommend to always configure the ping reboot feature which will reboot the router if it gets disconnected by the mobile network. This will save visits to site to power cycle the RUT200 router when it gets disconnected. (remember 4G cellular connectivity is an always available service, not an always on service. Your device is sharing a tower with hundreds of other devices and new devices will get priority for a new connection and longer connected devices such as 4G routers will get disconnected from the Internet even through they can still see the tower. This is why industrial 4G routers have these ping reboot / cell ICMP check / keep-alive features.
Once correctly configured the RUT200 will provide a reliable and secure 4G internet connection and even supports Teltonika RMS so that you can have easy online monitoring of all your Teltonika routers. There is a small monthly charge for the RMS service per device.
In Summary : The RUT200 is a great value, compact, reliable and secure Industrial 4G router that can be used with an M-Connect Fixed IP SIM card to provide easy remote access to the router and connected devices and multiple Teltonika routers can be managed and monitored using Teltonika RMS service.

Peter Kilner –
was surprised when I saw Teltonika had launched this for such a discounted price compared to the RUT241 – it actually seems to be exactly the same in build quality and performance. uses the same RUTOS and was quick to boot up and connect. Will switch to these for future purchases – not sure why Teltonika have two of the same product – don’t see a reason to buy the more expensive version.

Thanks Peter – the RUT200 uses slightly different hardware but like you say, it has the same specification in terms of speed and functionality – I think most customer looking for a low cost, M2M 4G router will choose this.
